Location
River Modern location: Great World MRT, Kim Seng Park and the river
River Modern is at 5 and 7 River Valley Green (District 9), between River Valley Green and Kim Seng Park on the Singapore River. Exit 1 of Great World MRT on the Thomson–East Coast Line is at the site's west end, Great World mall is connected to the station, and River Valley Primary School is across the road.
Getting around
- Great World MRT (TE15) on the Thomson–East Coast Line: the development's arrival lounge, at street level at its west end, is just steps from Exit 1, about 80 m from the fare gates, and a sheltered walkway leads from the lounge to both towers.
- On the Thomson–East Coast Line, Orchard is one stop away, Outram Park (East–West and North–East lines) two, Shenton Way four and Marina Bay five; northwards, Stevens (Downtown Line) is four stops and Caldecott (Circle Line) five.
- By car: the developer puts the Central Expressway about 8 minutes away, Orchard Road and Funan about 5, Raffles City about 7 and Marina Bay Sands about 9.
- On foot or by bike: the park connector along the river runs past the site, east to Robertson Quay and Clarke Quay and west towards Alexandra Canal.

Food, shops and the river
Great World mall, connected to the MRT station, has CS Fresh, Meidi-Ya and Ryan's Grocery. Along the river are the cafés, bars and restaurants of Robertson Quay, and to the south-west Tiong Bahru and the shops and restaurants of New Bahru.

River Valley Primary School is across River Valley Green: the developer puts Tower 5 about 38 m from it at the nearest point, and about a minute's walk by the sheltered linkway. Two of MOE's Two-Track schools from 2027 are within 2 km: St. Margaret's School (Primary) (girls) and Anglo-Chinese School (Junior) (boys).

The site and its neighbours
The site is a long strip, about 186 m along Kim Seng Park, with River Valley Green on its north side. Tower 7 stands at the west end, nearer the MRT, and Tower 5 at the east end, by River Valley Primary School; they're about 42 m apart at the nearest points, with the 50 m pool between them on the park side. Across the river are Mirage Tower, Rivière and Rivergate; to the north, Yong An Park and the River Valley Road condominiums; to the west, Centennia Suites and Great World.
Level 2 is about 13.5 m above River Valley Green and about 14 m above Kim Seng Park. The developer expects homes to look over the park's trees to the river from about level 4, and says the 3rd storey is already above the roof of River Valley Primary School.
