Location
Penrith location: Queenstown MRT, Margaret Drive and the schools
Penrith is at 70 and 72 Margaret Drive (District 3) in Queenstown, between Queenstown Primary School and SkyVille@Dawson. Queenstown MRT on the East–West Line is about four minutes' walk under shelter, and Dempsey, the Botanic Gardens, Orchard Road and one-north are a short drive away.
Getting around
- Queenstown MRT (EW19) on the East–West Line: the developer times the shortest walk at about 3 minutes 51 seconds, along the Alexandra Canal park connector and a lane by the condominium, and the fully sheltered route at about 4 minutes 12 seconds.
- On the East–West Line, Commonwealth is one stop away and Buona Vista (Circle Line, for one-north) two; the other way, Redhill is one stop, Outram Park three and Raffles Place five.
- By car: the kit puts Dempsey Hill and Orchard Road about 5 minutes away, and the AYE and the city close by.
- On foot or by bike: one of Penrith's side gates leads to the Rail Corridor, and the Alexandra Canal park connector runs past the south of the site.

Food, shops and greenery
Margaret Drive has a hawker centre and market (the Margaret Drive Marketplace, in the former Commonwealth Avenue Wet Market & Food Centre building of 1956), a Sheng Siong supermarket at Blk 85 Dawson Road and an NTUC FairPrice at Blk 57 Dawson Road. Around it, the kit points to Dawson Place, Queenstown Public Library, Queensway Shopping Centre, IKEA Alexandra and Tanglin Mall.

Using the address for P1
The sale and purchase agreement gives vacant possession no later than 1 April 2031 (the developer expects to hand over in April 2029), so under MOE's rules a Penrith address can be used from the 2029 Primary 1 registration exercise (children born 2 Jan 2023 to 1 Jan 2024, and younger), if the date in your agreement is by 31 December 2031. The site and its neighbours
The site is a long rectangle running south from Margaret Drive. Block 70 stands at the north end, by Margaret Drive, and Block 72 at the south end, about 60 m apart across the lake pool. To the west is Queenstown Primary School (7 storeys), to the east the 47-storey SkyVille@Dawson and SkyOasis@Dawson, and to the south the Strathmore Avenue HDB blocks (8 to 24 storeys, about 45 m from Block 72) and the Church of the Good Shepherd.
The north side of Block 70 looks over Margaret Drive to the bungalows of Ridout Park and Ridley Park, which the kit calls an unblocked view to the north.
