Location

Parktown Residence location: MRT, mall and schools

Parktown Residence is at 1 to 23 Tampines Street 62 in Tampines North (District 18), on top of the PARKTOWN mall, an air-conditioned bus interchange and a hawker centre. The Tampines North station on the Cross Island Line is being built at its north corner, and Angsana Primary School is just across Tampines Street 62.

Getting around

  • Tampines North MRT (CR6), on the Cross Island Line, is being built under Tampines Avenue 11 at the north corner of the site, with a link into the mall's basement and first storey. LTA's tentative opening date for this stretch of the line is 2030.
  • The bus interchange is part of the development, on the first storey, and the interim Tampines North bus interchange is across Tampines North Drive 2.
  • Pasir Ris MRT (EW1) is about 1.5 km north-east, and Tampines MRT (East-West and Downtown Lines) about 1.5 km south, in a straight line on the map.
  • By car: the Tampines Expressway (TPE) runs about 600 m north-east of the site, and the Pan Island Expressway (PIE) is south of Tampines town.

Distances are straight lines measured on the map from the middle of the site; use a map app for walking and driving times. MRT opening dates are LTA's tentative dates and may change.

Shops, food and parks

Daily needs are downstairs: the PARKTOWN mall on the first storey and basement 1, with a supermarket, and a hawker centre and a community club in the same development. For bigger malls, Tampines Mall and Century Square are about 1.7 km south in Tampines town centre, and IKEA Tampines is about 1 km north-west.

The green boulevard through the middle of the development is part of Tampines Boulevard Park, which runs south-east past Angsana Primary. Sun Plaza Park and the Tampines Eco Green are about 1.1 to 1.2 km away, and Pasir Ris Park is about 2.7 km east.

Schools near Parktown Residence

Angsana Primary and Damai Primary's new campus are within 1 km of Parktown Residence. Poi Ching School and Elias Park Primary School are about 1 km away, close to the 1 km line: in the sales kit, OneMap lists both within 1 km of a block next to the site (subject to confirmation), but the category can differ between Parktown's blocks. Tap a school for its P1 places, applicants and ballots. For Primary 1 registration, check the exact home-school distance on OneMap with the unit's address.

Damai Primary's new campus

Damai Primary School is moving from Bedok to a new campus on Tampines Street 64, just across Tampines Avenue 11 from Parktown Residence. The school says it starts running there in January 2029, with its first Primary 1 cohort at the Tampines campus that year, registered through the 2028 exercise. Its full street address isn't published yet, so check its distance on OneMap once it's listed.

Using the address for P1

The developer's expected vacant possession date is 30 June 2030, so under MOE's rules a Parktown Residence address can be used from the 2028 Primary 1 registration exercise (children born 2 Jan 2022 to 1 Jan 2023, and younger). The date that counts is the one in your sale and purchase agreement. How P1 registration works.

The neighbours

Across Tampines Avenue 11 to the north-west are sites for future housing, and the Tampines North MRT station is being built under the road at the north corner. Across Tampines North Drive 2 to the north-east is the interim Tampines North bus interchange, with the HDB blocks of Tampines GreenDew beyond. Across Tampines Street 62 to the south-east are Tampines GreenCourt and a site reserved for a future school, with Angsana Primary School next to it. Across Tampines Avenue 6 to the south-west are the HDB blocks of Tampines GreenView.

Inside the development, the blocks around Park West and Park East are about 22 to 119 m apart across the pools and gardens (the developer's figures).
