How much do I pay when I book a unit?

When the option to purchase is granted, you pay a 5% booking fee in cash. The developer then sends you the sale and purchase agreement, usually within two weeks, and you have three weeks to sign it. Buyer's stamp duty (and ABSD if it applies to you) is due within two weeks of signing, and a further 15% is due eight weeks from the option date. The 15%, the stamp duties and the legal fees can be paid in cash or CPF.
