Location
Sora location: Jurong Lake Gardens, the MRT and the schools
Sora is at 72 to 78 Yuan Ching Road (District 22), in the Jurong Lake District, with a 300 m frontage on Jurong Lake Gardens. Lakeside and Chinese Garden MRT are each a little over 1 km away, and Lakeside Primary is within 1 km.
Getting around
- Chinese Garden MRT (EW25) and Lakeside MRT (EW26) on the East-West Line: each about 1.1 to 1.3 km in a straight line from the blocks; the developer puts them at 5 and 3 minutes' drive.
- Jurong East, the interchange for the East-West and North-South Lines and the future Jurong Region Line (from 2029), about 7 minutes' drive, by the developer's estimate.
- Coming: the Jurong Region Line's Jurong Town Hall station (2029) and the Cross Island Line's Jurong Lake District station (2032), which the developer lists at 4 and 5 minutes' drive.
- By car: the Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE) and the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) serve the Jurong Lake District.

Jurong Lake Gardens and the Jurong Lake District
Jurong Lake Gardens, Singapore's third national garden, is across the site's eastern edge: about 90 hectares of gardens, lakeside paths and play areas, with the Chinese and Japanese Gardens being redeveloped across the lake. The developer's kit points to the new Science Centre (from about 2027) and a planned tourism development by the lake, and to the Jurong Lake District around it, which the government plans as the largest mixed-use business district outside the city centre.

- Next door: Taman Jurong's HDB estate, with its community club and shops across Yuan Ching Road

Schools near Sora
Lakeside Primary School, on Corporation Walk, is about 830 m from Block 78 and 930 m from Block 72, within 1 km of all four blocks by my map.

Fuhua Primary is about 1.2 km away; Shuqun, Rulang, Boon Lay Garden, Jurong Primary and Yuhua Primary are about 1.3 to 1.9 km away. None of them is one of the Two-Track schools, and none of those is within 2 km.
Using the address for P1
Under MOE's rules, a new home's address can be used for Primary 1 registration if the vacant possession date in your sale and purchase agreement is no later than 31 December two years after the registration year. The developer's expected vacant possession date is 31 October 2028, which fits the next registration, in 2027 (children born 2 January 2021 to 1 January 2022), and every year after. Distances are straight lines on the map from the middle of each block to the schools' grounds. The blocks have their own postal codes: 619601 (Block 72), 619602 (Block 74), 619603 (Block 76) and 619604 (Block 78). The blocks and their views
The four blocks stand in a row from south to north along Yuan Ching Road: Blocks 72 and 74 (12 storeys) at the south end and Blocks 76 and 78 (20 storeys) at the north end. Each block is cross-shaped, with its homes on four wings around the lift core, so the homes face many ways.
The east side looks over Jurong Lake Gardens: the developer calls it a full, unblocked view towards the lake gardens, about 350 m to the lake. The west side looks over Yuan Ching Road to the HDB blocks of Taman Jurong, of 5 to 19 storeys by the developer's plan. The developer's photos taken from each block's roof are in the sales kit, and I can send them to you.
