One Marina Gardens location: MRT, Gardens by the Bay and the sea
One Marina Gardens is at 1, 3 and 5 Marina Gardens Lane (District 1), the first homes in the new Marina South precinct, between Gardens by the Bay and the sea. One of the entrances to Marina South MRT is built into the development, but the station isn't open yet; Marina South Pier MRT is about 500 m away and Gardens by the Bay MRT about 600 m.
Getting around
- Marina South MRT (TE21) on the Thomson–East Coast Line is next to the site, and its exit 4 is built into the development, next to a side gate. The station is built but not in service yet: LTA has said it will open when the homes around it are ready, and no date has been set.
- Marina South Pier MRT (NS28), the end of the North–South Line, is about 500 m south, by the ferry terminal for the Southern Islands.
- Gardens by the Bay MRT (TE22) on the Thomson–East Coast Line is about 600 m east-north-east. The line runs from there to Marina Bay, Shenton Way, Orchard and Woodlands, and east along the coast to Marine Parade and Bayshore.
- Bayfront (DT16/CE1) is about 800 m north-north-west and Marina Bay (NS27/CE2/TE20) about 900 m west.
- By car: Marina Boulevard and Marina Coastal Drive lead to the Marina Coastal Expressway (MCE), which links the East Coast Parkway (ECP) and the KPE with the AYE.

Shops, food and the waterfront
Marina South is still being built, so for now the shops and food are around Marina Bay: The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands about 1 km north-north-west, Marina One and Marina Bay Link Mall about 1.1 to 1.2 km west, and Lau Pa Sat about 1.5 km. Satay by the Bay is about 1 km away. URA's plans for Marina South include shops and amenities within the precinct as it is built.
Gardens by the Bay's Bay South garden begins about 250 m north, past the empty plot across Marina Gardens Lane, and the Supertree Grove is about 700 m away. Marina Barrage is about 1 km east-north-east, and the waterfront at Marina South Pier about 500 m south.

Schools near One Marina Gardens
There's no primary school within 2 km. The nearest is Cantonment Primary School, about 2.6 km away in a straight line, and the next are River Valley Primary School and St. Margaret's School (Primary), about 3.7 km. For Primary 1 registration, an address here falls outside the 1 km and 2 km priority bands at every school.
Why no schools yet
Marina South is a new precinct, and One Marina Gardens is its first housing project. Any schools that come with the rest of the precinct would be announced by MOE; none is announced today.
Using the address for P1
The developer's expected vacant possession date is 30 April 2029, so under MOE's rules a One Marina Gardens address can be used from the 2027 Primary 1 registration exercise (children born 2 Jan 2021 to 1 Jan 2022, and younger), though it gives no distance priority. The neighbours
One Marina Gardens is the first of the Marina South plots to be built. Across Marina Gardens Lane to the north-north-east, an empty plot separates it from Gardens by the Bay; across Marina Gardens Drive to the west-north-west is open land towards Marina Bay and the city; and across Marina Boulevard to the south and Marina South Avenue to the east, open land runs down to the sea. URA plans the rest of Marina South for homes, shops, offices and hotels, so the plots around the site will be built up over the coming years, and today's open views may not all stay open.
Inside the site, Blocks 3 and 5 are about 23 m apart at their nearest corners. Block 3 is about 12 m from Marina South Avenue and 13 m from Marina Boulevard; Block 5 is about 15 m from Marina Gardens Drive and 16 to 21 m from Marina Gardens Lane (the developer's figures).
