Location
Hudson Place Residences location: one-north, the MRT and the schools
Hudson Place Residences is at 18 and 20 Media Circle, in Mediapolis, the media precinct of one-north (District 5, Queenstown planning area). Bloomsbury Residences is across Media Circle to the north, Infinite Studios to the south, and the Wessex Estate across Portsdown Road to the east. one-north MRT is about 1.1 km away, and New Town Primary is within 1 km.
Getting around
- one-north MRT (CC23) on the Circle Line: about 1.1 km in a straight line, or 4 minutes by bike, by the developer's estimate. Kent Ridge MRT (CC24) is about the same distance to the west.
- Buona Vista MRT, the interchange with the East-West Line, is one stop from one-north; HarbourFront, for the North-East Line, is six stops the other way.
- Shuttle bus: the sales kit lists a shuttle to one-north and Buona Vista MRT, free for the first year (subject to change).
- By car: the AYE is about 2 minutes away and the CTE about 6, by the developer's estimates; Holland Village about 8 and Orchard Road about 11.
- On foot: the Rail Corridor (South), through the Wessex Estate, and the future Queensway node are about 7 minutes' walk away, by the developer's estimates.
Travel times are the developer's estimates from the sales kit; the straight-line distances are mine, on OpenStreetMap. Use a map app for your own route.
Work, food and parks
one-north is a business park of about 50,000 workers in research, media and technology, so the shops and food nearby are set up for the people who work there; the Bloomsbury Shoppes across the road and the shops on Hudson Place's own level 1 are a minute's walk away.
- Work: Mediacorp's campus in Mediapolis (about 3 minutes' walk), Grab's headquarters, Razer at Fusionopolis, P&G at Biopolis and The Metropolis, by the developer's estimates
- Food and shops: the Bloomsbury Shoppes and Under der Linden (1 minute's walk), Galaxis and Timbre+ one-north (4 minutes by bike), Tanglin Halt Market (6) and The Star Vista (7)
- Nature: one-north Park (4 minutes by bike), the Rail Corridor through the Wessex Estate, Kent Ridge Park, and the Singapore Botanic Gardens about 10 minutes' drive away
- Further out: Holland Village and the Science Parks, a few minutes' drive
Times are the developer's estimates in the sales kit. The one-north workforce figure is from the launch reports.

Fairfield Methodist School (Primary) on Dover Road is about 1.3 km away and Queenstown Primary about 1.4 km; neither is one of the Two-Track schools, and none of those is within 2 km. Using the address for P1
Under MOE's rules, a new home's address can be used for Primary 1 registration if the vacant possession date in your sale and purchase agreement is no later than 31 December two years after the registration year. The developer's expected vacant possession date is 30 September 2029, which fits the 2027 registration (children born 2 January 2021 to 1 January 2022) and every year after. The date that counts is the one in your sale and purchase agreement. How P1 registration works.
Distances are straight lines on the map from the blocks to the schools' grounds. The blocks have their own postal codes: 139818 (Block 18) and 139819 (Block 20). MOE's official distance category is measured from the school's boundary on OneMap; check it on onemap.gov.sg/school in your registration year.
The blocks and their neighbours
The two blocks run from north-west to south-east, with the 50 m pool between them: the 23-storey Block 20 on the north side of the site, along Media Circle, and the 15-storey Block 18 on the south side, about 30 m away. Bloomsbury Residences (14 to 23 storeys) is across Media Circle to the north, Infinite Studios (9 storeys) across Media Circle to the south, and the Wessex Estate's trees and black-and-white houses across Portsdown Road to the east.
So every home faces north-east or south-west. The north-east side of both blocks looks towards the Wessex Estate, which the developer calls "Wessex facing"; Block 20's south-west side looks inward over the pool and the tennis court; and Block 18's south-west side faces Infinite Studios, which, by the developer's height study, the view clears from about level 13.
