Getting around
- Prince Edward Road MRT (CC32) on the Circle Line, which opened in July 2026: about 200 m, under shelter, about 3 minutes' walk by the developer's estimate, with a link bridge planned from Newport Plaza.
- Tanjong Pagar MRT (EW15) on the East–West Line: about 5 to 6 minutes' walk. Cantonment MRT (CC31): about 8 minutes.
- One stop to five MRT lines: the Circle Line links Marina Bay (North–South and Thomson–East Coast Lines) and HarbourFront (North East Line), and Tanjong Pagar is one stop from Outram Park and Raffles Place.
- By car: direct access to the AYE, MCE and CTE.

The developer calls it a 10-minute neighbourhood. Maxwell Food Centre, Amoy Street Food Centre, Lau Pa Sat and the Tanjong Pagar Plaza market are 5 to 8 minutes' walk, and the restaurants and cafés of Duxton Hill and Keong Saik Road are close by. For groceries there's a 24-hour FairPrice at Tanjong Pagar Plaza, FairPrice Finest and Don Don Donki at 100AM, and Little Farms at Guoco Tower.

The developer expects to give vacant possession on 1 March 2030. Under MOE's rules, a new home's address can be used for Primary 1 registration if the vacant possession date in your sale and purchase agreement is no later than 31 December two years after the registration year, so a Newport Residences address can be used from the 2028 exercise (children born 2 Jan 2022 to 1 Jan 2023, and younger). The tower stands at the west end of the site, on Tanjong Pagar Road, with Newport Tower's terraced office podium to the east along Anson Road. To the north, across Bernam Street, is One Bernam (35 storeys, about 155 m, about 40 m away); to the west, across Tanjong Pagar Road, the 12-storey ABI Plaza (about 32 m away); and to the south, Keppel Road and the AYE, then the port and the sea. M Hotel (about 134 m away) and the AIG Building (about 84 m) are to the east.
The homes start at level 23, about 115 m up, above most of the neighbours; from level 35 (about 162 m) they are above One Bernam. The developer counts more than 70% of the homes with a sea view.
