Location
Chuan Park location: Lorong Chuan MRT, Serangoon and the schools
Chuan Park is at 242 to 250 Lorong Chuan (District 19), at the corner of Lorong Chuan and Serangoon Avenue 3, between Serangoon Garden and Bishan. Lorong Chuan MRT on the Circle Line is next to the site, and five primary schools are within 1 km.
Getting around
- Lorong Chuan MRT (CC14) on the Circle Line: the kit puts Exit B less than a minute's walk from the development.
- One stop either way to another line: Serangoon (North East Line, with NEX) and Bishan (North South Line). Caldecott (Thomson–East Coast Line) is three stops west.
- By car: Lorong Chuan leads to the Central Expressway and Ang Mo Kio Avenue 1, and Braddell Road is close by.
- On foot or by bike: URA's master plan shows green links and cycling paths planned through the area around Lorong Chuan MRT.

Food, shops and greenery
NEX, the largest mall in the north-east, is one MRT stop away at Serangoon, with a FairPrice Xtra. Serangoon Garden, with its market and food centre, cafés and the Serangoon Garden Village shops, is about a kilometre to the north. A coffee shop and shops at Block 304 Serangoon Avenue 2 are a few minutes' walk.

The developer's OneMap check, block by block: St. Gabriel's Primary (boys), CHIJ Our Lady of Good Counsel (girls) and Yangzheng Primary are within 1 km of all five blocks; Zhonghua Primary is within 1 km of Blocks 244, 246, 248 and 250; and Kuo Chuan Presbyterian Primary is within 1 km of Blocks 242, 244 and 250. No Two-Track school is within 2 km.
Within 2 km
Townsville Primary (about 1.4 km; it is moving to Sembawang), First Toa Payoh Primary (about 1.7 km) and Pei Chun Public School (about 2 km). The kit also lists three international schools within 1 km: the Australian International School, Brighton College (Singapore) and Stamford American's Early Learning Village. Nanyang Junior College and St. Gabriel's and Zhonghua Secondary Schools are nearby too.
Using the address for P1
The developer expects to give vacant possession in September 2028. Under MOE's rules, a new home's address can be used for Primary 1 registration if the vacant possession date in your sale and purchase agreement is no later than 31 December two years after the registration year, so a Chuan Park address can be used from the 2027 exercise (children born 2 Jan 2021 to 1 Jan 2022, and younger). Distances are straight lines on the map from the middle of the site to each school. MOE's official distance category is measured from the school's boundary to the block on OneMap, so it differs from block to block; check it with the block's postal code on onemap.gov.sg/school in your registration year.
The site and its neighbours
The site is roughly triangular. Lorong Chuan runs along its north-west side, with the landed homes of Mei Hwan and Li Hwan beyond, and Serangoon Avenue 3 along the south, with The Scala, The Springbloom and Chiltern Park across the road. Lorong Chuan MRT is at the south-west corner, and the low-rise homes towards Serangoon Garden lie to the north and east.
Block 246 at the north tip looks over the landed homes towards Serangoon Garden, which the kit calls an unblocked landed view. Blocks 242 and 250 face south over Serangoon Avenue 3 towards Potong Pasir and, from about level 19, the city; Block 248, at the east corner, faces south-east towards Bartley and Bidadari. Blocks 244 and 246 are set off from each other, so their views don't overlap, and Blocks 246 and 250 are about 85 m apart across the pool.
